Talemetry Hosts Vancouver's First HR Unconference

Posted by Talemetry Today

High performance recruitment marketing platform provider Talemetry opened our doors for Vancouver’s first HR Unconference on October 20, 2014. Recruiting professionals from around the Vancouver area gathered for a decidedly different HR conference experience.

With topics from What’s Hot and What’s not in HR Technology to Sourcing Secrets to Immigration Law, attendees basked in the lack of PowerPoint presentations and podiums. The Unconference ditches these staples for round table discussions and full participation.

Facilitators included Phebe Chen of RBS Law, Ian Alexander of Talemetry, Phil Noelting from Qwalify, Aki Kakko of GlobalHRU/Joberate, Geoff Webb of AON/Hewitt, and more.

Our modern, spacious offices were a perfect setting for the day’s events and participants had a great time. We enjoyed having them and it was a great opportunity for members of our team to hear first hand the challenges faced by recruiting organizations.

We encourage recruiters around the world to check out the Unconference when it comes to your city. It’s great way to expand your knowledge by networking with peers and discussing challenges and solutions.
