UCI Medical Center Reduces Healthcare Recruiting Costs & Time-To-Fill With Talemetry

Posted by JamesT

My favorite part of my job is hearing from customers who have done great things with our technology. And with over 200 implementations of the Talemetry talent generation suite already working to help some of the world's biggest brands tackle some of the world's most complex recruiting challenges, it's something I'm lucky enough to get to hear every day as our customers see real results and real impact on their ability to find, attract and engage top talent.

The University of California, Irvine Medical Center (UCI) is definitely one of those cases. UCI is a world-class academic medical center facing an incredibly competitive talent market for healthcare recruiting, contending with a litany of talent acquisition challenges in an industry with growing demand and a shrinking supply of qualified workers.

Despite an extremely complex and resource intensive implementation of an enterprise ATS designed to help transform their healthcare recruiting function, UCI still found themselves faced with a number of challenges for attracting and engaging top talent for open positions. Their ATS proved effective at managing candidates and workflow after the point of application - which is, after all, what applicant tracking systems are designed to do.

But it's not just about tracking applicants, but attracting the right talent - and building a sustainable talent pipeline for the future - which remained a significant challenge for their healthcare recruiting organization. Those capabilities are typically associated with a talent generation solution - and ultimately, UCI chose Talemetry to address those critical needs.

Through their adoption of Talemetry as their talent generation solution, UCI was able to increase the exposure of their open positions through search engine optimization and job board aggregation of job descriptions, create branded career sites and targeted microsites targeted to unique candidate populations, from nurses to finance and IT professionals while dramatically improving the overall candidate experience.

The results were immediate and significant, decreasing external healthcare recruiting costs and critical metrics like time-to-fill and quality of hire while positioning UCI as an employer of choice by building a sustainable, scaleable employer brand. If you'd like to learn more about how UCI stopped tracking applicants and started generating talent, and how you can put the power of Talemetry to work in your organization, join us for our series of upcoming webinars on Wednesday, May 22 at 1 PM ET or Thursday, May 30 at 4 PM ET.
